Election Commission of India has made it clear that it is going to use electronic voting machines only and will not go back to ballot pappers. It has to be recalled that hacker Sayyad Shuja who got asylum in US has alleged that tampering of EVMs were taken place in large scale during 2014 elections. The opposition parties, particularly Congress and TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu have called for national debate on these allegations and asked Election Commission to look into it.
Responding to the opposition allegations, the ECI on Thursday said that if anyone is having complaints about EVMs, they can approach EC and clarify their doubts.
