A Woman Missed On Her Engagement

A woman of 21-year-old went missing just a day before getting engaged.As reports G. Vignateja,who working for an MNC in the city and who resides in a hostel at KPHB, had left the hostel on Wednesday evening and had switched off her mobile phone, said police.According to police, Vignateja’s family members had fixed a match for her, which she did not approve of. She had conveyed the same to her parents, but they convinced her to accept the proposal and also fixed her engagement at their home on Thursday.
On Wednesday evening, she walked out of the hostel and went missing. In the evening, when her family members tried contacting her over the phone, but since the mobile was switched off, they contacted the hostel authorities.They later rushed to the hostel and found that she was missing. Police suspects that she went missing as she was not willing for the proposal her parents fixed for her.
KPHB inspector Ch. Kushalkar said that they are verifying the CCTV cameras near the hostel. Her call data records are also being verified. The case is under investigation.
